This particular family session means so much to me. The Hannibal Family is one of the most genuine, most loyal, funny, hard working, beautiful families you will ever meet.  Certainly, my opinion might be a little biased.  First because we lived a mile away from each other, secondly we went to  Church together, and last but not least, our daughters are best friends. But none of those relationships would have come to fruition had their attributes not been some of the finest I have ever come across.

When Sasha asked me to photograph her family, I was completely honored.  First let me clarify that I am honored to photograph anyone that steps in front of my lens. You are trusting me to document, well… YOU! And you are important, therefore I know my task is important and the end result is greatly valued.  However, get this: The Hannibal’s had never had a formal family session! I know! My brain was blown too! They have had their family picture taken here and there: pumpkin patches, church, etc. But never formally. So I knew I had to bring out the big guns and do my best to capture their family in the most loving and natural way that they could treasure for years to come.

I absolutely love shooting at Monocacy Battlefied. The tall fields. The cows grazing. The peaceful setting is perfect for an evening session.  And we even had a few visitors that helped distract the children during this hot East Coast Summer.

Enjoy the Hannibal Family! Oh… And I want you to take a guess at which one is my favorite. I’ll give you a hint: she’s blonde, and has the cutest pouty face in all the land.
